Agni Bay, a very picturesque, traditional and popular neighbourhood of Gimari,  is located 28 km (approximately 50 minutes drive) north of Corfu Town. A scattering of houses and tavernas line the shore of the white pebble beach. Three jetties run into the translucent water, perfect for swimming, snorkelling and small boat hire.

There are three excellent tavernas and one cafe/cocktail bar. Boat hire is available from the beach. Although there are no supermarkets in Agni Bay, deliveries can be arranged from neighbouring villages. 

A network of footpaths follow the glorious coastline both north and south of the cottage, perfect for accessing several local beaches or discovering your own unihabitated cove. Other footpaths lead inland to several little villages. To the north, approximately 20 minutes walk, is Kalami Bay. Famous for once being the home of Lawrence Durrell, Kalami is a very charming beach resort with several tavernas, a variety of watersports, boat hire, supermarkets, gift shops and bars. A further 10 minutes walk will take you to one of the most naturally beautiful harbours on the island, Kouloura. Above the harbour is  a seafood restaurant.

To the south of Agni follow the coastal footpath (for approximately 15 minutes) to Agios Asernios, a small fisherman's chapel, set into the rocks above a popular, pristine swimming spot. Continue further on the path to Krouzeri with its large, white pebble beach, two tavernas and watersports.

There is no public transport service available from Agni Bay. The nearest bus stop is 1.5 km up a steep road. If you wish to explore more of this beautiful island, car or small boat hire is recommended.
